Welcome to our “Eagles Nest”!

 Our library is a warm and inviting place where you can walk in and explore all the wonderful books available.  Students are encouraged to read daily so they can reach their Accelerated Reader goal every six weeks.

 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Octavio Salinas Elementary library is to create a “student-centered library media program that will empower students to become lifelong readers, critical thinkers, effective users and producers of information and ideas” that will gear them into becoming productive citizens in the 21st century.
